Description
Pro Force is a double braid construction with a polyester cover and a HMPE (dyneema) core. The HMPE core gives it an extremely high breaking strength and extremely low stretch, which makes it ideal for crane work. The Pro Force crane sling is available in 1/2″, 9/16″ and 5/8″ diameters. All Pro Force slings have a Husky urethane coating for abrasion resistance, and a protective chafe sleeve on the eye for extended wear and abrasion resistance. Each sling has an ID tag which is required by OSHA for crane work. They are usually used in sets of 3 to balance the limb. A cow hitch is recommended as the knot to use for crane work. Contact us for any custom lengths. See also the classic Bull Rope Eye Sling.
